Koala Littlest Pet

My daughter is a HUGE Hasbro littlest Pet Shop fan. So when she see on T.V the Koala littlest pet and the only way to obtain it was by collecting stickers and sending it off in the mail. She came running to mom all excited telling me what we needed to do. Me not knowing what she was talking about decided to google it. And I found this site.

So I started searching for this journal. Walmart was sold out. And only place that had them was ebay. And the people on ebay was wanting so much there was no way I was gonna be able to afford to get enough stickers and the journal to get her this Koala.

Easter was coming up and our car had broke down so we had to get a new one and we was strapped had no money and I was in a panic when all of a sudden the money we had been waiting for showed up in the mail box. Thank the lord. So off to walmart to easter shop and we came up with this wonderful easter basket.

Luckily Walmart got the journals in so we got them and got the stickers we had collected. All the time she is thanking the Easter Bunny. And is all excited. So we Mail the stickers with the form to LPS. We wait and wait. And just the other day we was talking about it, and my daughter was saying she don’t think she was getting the Koala. At this point I didn’t either so I was ready to go on ebay and see about buying it for her from someone who was greedy and sent off for a ton to jack the price up and sell. But my daughter is worth it.

So here we are to today. I walk out to the mailbox and my daughter is watching I see a small white box and I am like whats this. I pull it out and it has my daughters name on it. “Scratching my head” I do not remember entering know sweepstakes in her name. I look at the return address and see LPS. I hold the box up and say “Gillian this is for you” with a big grin on my face. She’s asking what is it. So I show her the return name and ask her who it is from she thinks for a minute. Then gets all excited. “ITS MY KOALA” I open it for her and all she is saying is “I can’t believe I won.” She thinks she won it like I do my sweepstakes.

Now isn’t that picture priceless. I would have paid 10 bucks for that thing if I had to just to make my baby’s day. Love my daughter with everything I am. And I hope one day soon we can tell her we are finally giving her a baby brother or sister.

PS This is how greedy people are I just searched ebay for this Koala and they are selling it anywhere from 20 to 40 dollars. COME ON PEOPLE THIS IS A CHILDS TOY. It really erks me how greedy people can be. “shakes head while heading to bed”

  1. Oh my gosh. This is the sweetest story. I love it when kids get so excited even over the little things that we ourselves may take for granted. It's that moment that makes it all so worth it.

I'm so glad she got her Koala. I know Alison gets so excited when she gets mail. Isn't it fun to see them smile. I don't think there is any greater feeling in the world.

  3. Look at her, she looks so excited!!

  4. Mom Union says

She looks so jazzed! But don't you just hate waiting for stuff like that. They say 6 to 8 weeks, but the only items that really take 6 to 8 weeks are the ones I really want! It's so cool that she thinks she won a sweep like mom. I get freebies and my daughter thinks she won something. hee hee.
