Becoming more Organzied

I will be working out of the What your 2nd Grader Needs To Know book. We discovered the “What your 1st grader needs to know” book when we was almost done with first grade so we will also be going back and doing things out of that book as well.

If you do not have these books and would like to see what your child should know at their grade level I have found the site that has everything your child needs to know and the grade they should be learning about it. Here you will find units/assessments and here you will find lesson plans. This site will help up to the 8th grade.

I would really love to get in contact with other parents who are home schooling and have a 2nd grader. Maybe we can share tips, websites, craft ideas, and anything else we can think of.

    PS Have a great weekend!

  2. Jammie,

I am homeschooling two girls this year. We are "enrolling" them in grade 2 and 3, but both are at or close to a grade 2 level. We just have to put a grade on it. :) I'm heading over to check out those links. I have those books on my wish list; I may have to use some of my homeschool funding to get them.
