My Daughter

As I sat here last night entering my giveaways. My daughter who will be 8 this month sat in the chair next too me playing Animal Crossing on the Wii. She goes “hmmm” and I ask her what she is thinking about. She goes “oh nothing”. I said “Are you thinking about going to bed?” She says “no I am thinking about throwing you a surprise party since you do everything for me and daddy.”

I tell her how sweet that is and how that’s mommas job. Then we go into the bed room to goto bed. She makes it in there first and the beds made. She said “it only took me a minute” I get into bed and I am about asleep when she goes “want me to rub your back mom” So I say sure. She continues to rub my back 10 minutes goes by then 20 minutes then 30 minutes. I tell her she can go ahead and stop if she would like. Then she goes “aw thank you” LOL. A bit later she asks me if I want my hair played with. I tell her no, because I am really sleepy. Then she tells me again “Well since you do everything for me and daddy, I am going to do everything for you today. You need a vacation so today is going to be like another Mother’s Day”

I thanked her for being a sweetie said I loved her then feel asleep, but I just wanted to share how sweet my daughter can be. And how she thinks of her momma sometimes.
