Why are people so negative? This is a question I so often ask myself, and I still do not know the answer. I have decided I no longer have room in my life for negative people. I have also decided I will not raise my daughter to be negative nor will I raise her around negativity.

Have you ever been around a person and the only thing that comes out of their mouth is bad things about people? And if you agree to shut them up because it is not worth getting into a fight over, they turn it around like it was you talking the trash.

I really wonder why people are so negative. I mean wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all helped each other instead of trash talking?

My daughter came to me one night when we was watching a movie and she goes “momma why are those girls being so mean to her” I had to explain to my daughter who was 5 at the time that some people are just plain hateful.

It is time we try to break the negativity and raise our children to not be negative about situations. Every negative situation can be turned into a positive learning experience if we as parents take the time to explain things to our children.
