Is everyone getting excited about the holidays? I know I am, I can not wait until after Turkey dinner. Every year after dinner we put the tree up. I think this year though I am going to do things a bit different.

You see, Gillian is getting older and with age comes smarts. She is getting to where she can guess what is in the package. So, I am going to leave the presents wrapped up in a tote. That way she can not see the shapes of the gifts. Another thing we like to do is Christmas on Christmas Eve. Mom and dad do the gifts and then on Christmas morning Santa, leaves the stocking. If she has been good he will also leave a gift or 2 on the floor under the stocking.
