2010 Census

It is that time again. Every 10 years the government tries to get an accurate count of the US Citizens. This is extremely important. It helps the government know where to place fundings in your area.

The 2010 Census will help communities receive more than $400 billion in federal funds each year for things like:

  • Hospitals
  • Job training centers
  • Schools
  • Senior centers
  • Bridges, tunnels and other-public works projects
  • Emergency services

The data collected by the census also help determine the number of seats your state has in the U.S. House of Representatives.

SO please take part in the 2010 Census. Also, if you could please repost this video to help keep spreading the word.

  1. I just got my form in the mail the other day! Its not that many questions and pretty simple to fill out. I don't think people realize how important it is to fill out, but thanks for trying to get people more involved with your post!

  2. Hi Olivia, I got mine the other day as well. I was surprised on how small it was. A few simple questions about age/sex/ and race of everyone living in your home. Sent mine off yesterday.
