Educational Toys

With my husband and I home schooling our daughter it is very important that we get her educational toys. She is still into pretend play so it makes things a bit easier. We like to use pretend money to do certain Math games. She will be the store owner and I will come in trying to buy things. I make her count the money out and I try to fake her out by shorting her to see if she will catch on…

When she doesn’t I ask her if she is sure she has the right amount. Another game we like to play is bana o gram I think it is called. She loves making words with the tiles.

I personally think educational toys are extremely important even with public school children, they play a big part in their learning. Children tend to get bored with the basic pencil paper, book learning. So to get children excited about learning, let them play with toys and explore new things.
