Christmas in July

Sighs. Is it to early to start my Christmas wish list? My dear daughter can write her letter to Santa so why can’t I? All my life I have aimed to please EVERYONE. I have gone with out so much, and I never complained because of the sacrifices I have made. These sacrifices I chose on my own, but they made me into the person I am today.

When I had my daughter in 2001, giving my all to her came so easy. To this day it is always about her, of course I do have the me times every blue-moon. However, when she needs something she gets it no matter what. My husband and I make sure we have the money to go all out on 2 days for her, Christmas and her birthday. Our children will only be children once, and I want my daughter to have the best childhood I can possibly give her, but it is okay for momma to day dream, right? So I am writing my letter to Santa in hopes he will read it and well you know ;)

Dear Santa,

I do not ask for much in life. The most important thing to me in this world is my daughter and my husband. All I ever want is for the both of them to be happy. HOWEVER, can I ask for a few things for mom? Of course these things are to make me a better mother and wife.

For starters I would love a new vacuum cleaner, do you know how hard it is to vacuum with a shop vac? It is a chore let me tell you. It is so much easier to sweep the rooms into the kitchen then shop vac them up from there. Is a vacuum to much to ask for?  I am not even picky on this one gift, a Dyson, a hoover, an Oreck, I would even be happy with a Bissell as long as it worked. How about a ipod touch? Is that do-able this year. When I go outside to do my walking it gets pretty boring, walking would be a lot more enjoyable if I had a way to listen to some great tunes.

You know what would also be a nice gift Santa, maybe a new computer and a nice printer. With homeschooling my daughter these items would be so nice. Also guess what Santa my husband is going to see about taking College courses so these items would be great for him to use as well.

See Santa I am not being to greedy I am asking for things that will not only benefit myself, but also the people I care more then anything about.

So this Santa is my Christmas wish list. I wanted to write it as soon as I could so you would get it in time for Christmas.

Sincerely,

The mom who would do anything for anyone.
