Happy Birthday To ME

Today marks the day that I have been in this world for 31 years. Most of those years have been a hell of a struggle, but I can say I have survived, and I am stronger then ever because of those life struggles. One of my most favorite sayings is “What does not break you will only make you stronger”. That statement is so true.

In those 31 years I have become  a daughter, a sister, a mother and a wife. I have learned to take life one day at a time. I have learned to cherish the friendships I have, and to always be honest with everyone around me.

I have seen good family members pass and other family members think they are allowed to do whatever they please. I have gone from having a pretty good relationship with my mom, to not having one at all. Same for my dad I have gone from not having a relationship with my dad to having a pretty good one with him.

I have been blessed with an amazing daughter and a wonderful husband. Even though I have had to over come my fair share of struggles, God has been good to me.

I am not a church person, I do however believe all things happen for a reason, and I believe we do have some sort of a higher power, whether it be God, Zues, or even Fred Flintstone. I also know our God would not give us anything, that he knew we could not handle.

So today as I turn yet another year older, and a year closer to meeting my creator, I can say I have had a pretty blessed life thus far. So here it to another 31 years.
