Tunica, Mississippi

I love to gamble, however I live 1.5 hours from the casinos. When I lived in Michigan I lived right down the road from one, so taking 20 here and there was no big deal. Living in Tennessee though I have to drive 1.5 hours so it is not worth it unless you have some money you can actually spend.

With yesterday being my husband and my wedding anniversary we decided we would go a bit out and head on south to play some. We did our birthday and anniversary all in one day. Since today is my dear husbands birthday.

We decided to check out RoadHouse. BIG MISTAKE… I will not go back to that casino ever again and I really wish we would have stuck to the plan and went to Fitzgeralds. When we first got there we went in and got our players club cards. You would think since June is both our birthday month, mine being the 21st and hubs being the 23rd we would have got some sort of comps, but nope nothing.

So we head off to find a machine to play within about 15 to 20 minutes we both went almost through the 50 each we took. I was down to my last 5 when I hit for 80 hubs was same he started hitting when he was down to nothing. Over all we walked out with the 120 we took plus 26 more dollars. HOWEVER, after playing for about 2 hours or so I went to see if I had enough for a comp for the buffet, NOPE I had a whole 75 cents…. WTF playing for 2 hours and I had only 75 cents… What a joke and a waste. So the money we walked out a head went to a local buffet close to home.

If we would have went to the Fitz we would have been comped no questions asked. Out of all the casino’s I have been in at Tunica, the fitz is by far the best. I have been in resort, hollywood, horseshoe, ballys, roadhouse and fitz.

I think we will still to the Fitz when we go back. At least then we will get comped a damn buffet.
