Ask-the-Organize Back-to-School Special Radio Event

Almost a year ago I got to review a book called “Growing up Organized By Lea Schneider“. I still have not become completely organized. However, since reading the book I have de-cluttered A LOT. I went from having one usable bathroom to now having 2 usable bathrooms.

I always had that, “I am going to have a yard sale” type attitude, but I never did and the junk just kept piling up. So I had to do something about it and I did. Thanks to Lea and my husbands fussing about wanting it all gone. LOL.

Lea recently emailed me to let me know about a special event she will be holding for Back to School. You will also have a chance to win some great prizes to help you get better organized. Below I have attached the email I received with all the information.

If you are unorganized I highly recommend “Growing up Organized” Lea tells it like it is, she doesn’t sugar coat. I caught myself laughing through out this book, because she hit the nail on the head.

Ask-the-Organize Back-to-School Special Radio Event

If Back-to-School signals back-to-craziness, then you are invited to join us for a very cool first-time event.

Professional Organizer Lea Schneider, author of Growing-up Organized: A Mom-to-Mom Guide (Amazon, $14) and her Organize Right Now-Organize Online team of organizers invite you to a back-to-school radio special on The Joy of Organizing Radio Show on August 4th.

“This show brings the expertise of professional organizers to parents who want to have a smoother school year,” Schneider said. During the one hour show, a panel of moms from across the country will ask the questions that stump them during the school year. A number of prizes will be given away in conjunction with the show.

The show is available online at blogtalkradio.com/thejoyoforganizing on August 4th or available for download at iTunes.com, keywords “The Joy of Organizing,” after August 4th.

“People want expert advice on where to start and what to do next. They want to get the kids out the door on time, handle homework with out a lot of fuss, get dinner on the table on hectic school nights and be able to walk across the mine-field, also known as their kid’s room,” Schneider said.

She will be joining other organizers from the Organize Online team of OrganizeRightNow.com, a website devoted to getting organized. Panel participants include professional organizers Bonnie Joy Dewkett of Connecticut, Paris Love of Alabama, Britt Morris of Maine and Darcy Munzer of Missouri.

“Pairing back-to-school with an ask-the-organizer panel is just what parents need to gear up for a new year,” said Bonnie Joy Dewkett, co-host of The Joy of Organizing and a special education teacher. “We’re very excited that Lea, an organizing expert, has joined the panel. She is experienced in dealing with organizing solutions for families.”
