My Thoughts: With being a home schooling family, I found Rock N Learn Phonics Volume 1 DVD to be a great resource in helping Gillian further develop her Phonic skills. This is not a DVD just for home schoolers. This is a fun DVD that will help your child learn to read in a fun setting. I know when I first started teaching Gillian to read I would get so frustrated, this would make her lose focus.
With the Rock N Learn Phonics DVD she can actually sing a long, and what is so great about it, is she does not think she is actually doing schooling. I can pass it off as “today we are going to take a break from schooling” and put in the DVD.
Buy It: Rock N Learn Phonics comes in 2 different volumes. You can purchase them from the Rock N Learn website for $19.99 each or both for $34.99.
Rock N Learn also has other great DVDs for your other subjects as well. I would love to get Gillian Spanish Volume 1 and 2. She wants to learn a second language bad, which is a good thing.
