EcoStore Review

Has it been overly hot to you this year? Did you know we are the cause of it? We sometimes forget all the chemicals and pollution we are causing to the Earth is destroying it.  Until we all decide, it is time to live more green, our summers will only continue to get hotter, and our winters will become shorter. Is this what we really want? Do we want the weather to be un-bearable? I sure do not I cannot hardly handle the heat we had this year.

Thankfully, there are several companies out there, which feel the same as I do. It is time we start thinking more about the Earth, instead of what is more convenient for us. I recently had the opportunity to work with ecostore, I was impressed that, when they shipped the products to me EVERYTHING was ecofriendly, even the peanuts used to ship the products to me in.

A Little about EcoStores:

ecostore NZ was founded more than 15 years ago by Melanie and Malcolm Rands from their home in an eco village in New Zealand.

All of the families that lived in the farm based eco village shared a commitment to organic growing and healthy living, making this an ideal environment in which a young, environmentally conscious business could thrive. Each household in the village was responsible for their own waste water, which quickly highlighted the problems caused by using regular supermarket cleaning products that relied heavily on cheap, petroleum-based, synthetic ingredients. What I Thought:

As stated above, I was impressed with the fact everything used to ship the product to me was eco-friendly. I think when a company steps out to show consumers they too will make a change to become greener, it really says a lot about that company.

manuka honey and kelp soap all natural all purpose cleaner

We received Manuka Honey & Kelp Soap, as well as their All Purpose Cleaner for review. When I first opened the soap, the smell hit me. I was surprised at how good it smelt, my husband even made mention about it smelling good. After using the soap, my skin did not feel all filmy like it usually does with other bath soaps, and what is great about this soap, is it’s made with all natural ingredients. Therefore, I am not adding any chemicals to my skin while I am trying to clean my body.

If you are not sure what manuka honey is, it comes from the same tree as tea tree oil, and has several health benefits. We discovered it several months ago, and keep it in the bathroom to help with different things, and it does work.

Now the All Purpose Cleaner, I was not expecting to work as good as it did. I am so use to using chemicals that are not good for me to breathe in, and thinking that is all that will work. While using the all-purpose cleaner, I loved the citrus smell it was leaving behind as I washed the kitchen down. Not only did it get the job done, I think it might have cleaned better then my regular cleaner I normally use, and I didn’t have all those nasty chemicals soaking in my skin as I scrubbed everything down.

Over all, I loved both products, and I will be recommending them to others to use as well.
