The Joys of Blogging

Have you ever had a feeling in your gut, knowing something seems fishy? Well, recently I had just that feeling, something in my gut told me to just say no.

Recently, I had won adspace in a newsletter for a “mom” site. I was a bit iffy on this whole thing, so I contacted the person I won the giveaway from, she assured me it was all legit. Little did I know this only opened myself up to yet other “mom” contacting me via my contact me.

Everything would have been all great however, at the end of the email she informed me I would get more exposure on her site for less money then I paid on this other site. To me that is soliciting, and I am not to fond of it, I think it is disgusting.

However to get to the point, she started making remarks to me, which is all great she is allowed to her opinion. However that is the reasoning for this post so here you go…

To whom it may concern,

When you have a bad feeling in your stomach about something JUST SAY NO. Chances are your gut will be dead on. Also for anyone who cares, if you expect me to be mature and professional when you contact me, then show some class and do not solicit me from another site you seen me on similar to yours. That is so not classy, I mean who said I liked saving money anyways.

Also, just to make a note, when you say things to me like “Needlessly creating bad blood is never adviseable on the www.” I seem to take that as a threat, again not nice. If you do not want me to get an attitude with you or be rude, then you yourself show some respect. Remember you are contacting me NOT the other way around, and for your information, we only live once and I personally do not want to be mature for the rest of my days here on earth so guess what I WILL PICK THE DAYS I DO NOT WANT TO BE A GROWN UP ON.

However, when it comes to being professional, I am extremely professional, as stated this is when being professional is needed. Again, I will decided on when it is needed. I do not need “advice” on how to run my blog, or communicate with business associates, I seemed to be doing pretty well on my own thanks.

Sincerely,

The Immature unprofessional blogger.

If you have any questions or concerns about this post, feel free to hit the contact me above. HOWEVER, this is MY blog and if your email comes off as being rude or unprofessional chances are you will get the same back from me.

Disclosure: I have GREAT relations with all companies I have worked with, and I attend to continue to have GREAT relations with all other business associates I work with in the future.
