HostGator Rocks!

So as I sat here, minding my own business, I came to my site and it was broke! I was seeing a bunch of no posts for the category, then it would come back, and go away again. This happened for about 30 minutes, and I was really starting to get worried. Then all of a sudden all of my categories, and tags just disappeared, vanished, jumped off the bloggy bridge.

When this happened I really got nervous, now I am thinking “how the hell am I suppose to remember all the tags, and categories I had to properly rename everything so I didn’t have no broken links”.

I decided I would go get Hostgator on chat, to see if maybe they was having technical issues on their end causing my blog to do tricks. I got on chat with a nice rep named Shaun Mc. and he did a great job, at solving my problem.

It seems wordpress may have did some damage to my database, as I sat here waiting to hear word on what was going on, all my post vanished. My dashboard numbers all turned to 0, talk about scary, 2 years worth of work gone!

Shaun came back let me know he did find issues in the database, and needed me to get him some information, so I could prove I was the owner, this is a plus! I would hate to know anyone could go and mess with my stuff, I got him the information he needed, and he got to work at resolving my issue.

This whole process took 55 minutes, and everything is now back to normal! If it wasn’t for hostgator, I do not know what I would have done. I would have probably sat here and cried.

We all know what makes a company amazing is their customer/tech support. Whenever, I have issues, I know I can count on hostgator to resolve my issue, and they are always their with a click of the button.

Thinking about making the switch from blogger to wordpress? Need good hosting, I highly recommend Hostgator, not only do they have affordable prices, but they also have awesome support.
