Save On Prescription Eye glasses

I recently, have been watching Clark Howard on HLN to get the best money saving tips. With money around this area being so tight right now, I want to get the best bang for my buck. When you are limited on funds you try and learn new tips and tricks, and these tips and tricks carry on with you when you are not so pinched for money. I mean who doesn’t want to save money, and retire early!

I have been wearing glasses now since the 7th grade. I have seen the enormous amount of money my parents have paid for my glasses as a child, as well as the enormous amount I have paid as an adult. The bill is not pretty, if I knew then what I know now, I would have been purchasing my eye glasses online.

One of the main things I dislike about wearing glasses, is the SUN! Sure I can get prescription sunglasses, but those are pretty expensive! I have purchased sunshades, however when I get a new pair, the ones that once fit my old glasses do not fit my new glasses, and these things are not cheap. Thankfully, I have found an alternative, I can order my glasses ONLINE and get snap on sunshade all for about $29.00 shipped to me. I call this a score, because then in the Summer my eyes are protected.

So for all those that wear glasses, if you want to save some money, I recommend searching online to find the best price possible. No need to pay hundreds on glasses when your prescription expires yearly.
