Getting Back On Track

Our unexpected move, put a small curve in my plans to go back to school. Schooling is not out of my future, it is just on hold for a bit. This will also allow me to make completely sure nursing is the field I would like to go in.

Another field I have been thinking about going into is the teaching field. Not in a school setting, but maybe as a tutor. I think I would be a great asset to ones education. I have been looking at different options here in Michigan. After I get my main degree, I do not want to stop there, I want to continue being educated in the field I decided to get educated in. I personally feel that would benefit myself the most.

The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship, looks like it would be a great pick once I get my first degree. They have teaching fellowships in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Once you are done with your clinical, and you complete the course, they also continue to mentor you. Which to me, means they stick behind their teaching.

One thing that would get my anxiety going, is getting done with school, and being thrown into my career with no one to really turn to. So this would be a great pick, if I go the teaching route in my career.

I still have a little bit of time to weigh out my options, and decide what I actually want to do.
