When To Purchase Discount School Supplies

With being home schoolers, we have some what of an advantage when it comes to purchasing school supplies. We get to wait until the products go on clearance, and we usually purchase the products at 75% off or more. Whenever I see discount school supply products, I always purchase a nice amount. That is one thing you will never go wrong on is buying extra school supplies. We go through a lot of paper, and pens!

I also like to stock up on crayons. I like having several packs so when my nieces come to play, and they get bored I have some crayons and paper for them, and they can take them home. It not only gets their minds working in creative mode, it excites them because they get to draw auntie some pictures for the fridge.

I do wish I could find more craft products on mark down though. We love doing crafts, but the supplies can be a bit pricey, so I am always checking the clearance aisles at our local Wal-mart. With being back in Michigan, I can now check the mark down aisles at all the other stores as well. I personally feel a parent can never have to much art and craft supplies!

I mean you can do crafts just about whenever, and they make great gifts. This year I want to make candles, and a handmade card for everyone for Christmas. This will give my daughter and I something to do together. Craft time is a great bonding time, whether it is dad and the kids doing crafts, or mom and the kids doing crafts.
