Tax Season is Approaching

With the holidays and tax season fast approaching some of the best ways to not only help yourself, but also others in need is to donate timeshares. You maybe asking yourself “Well how is this going to help me?” For starters it will make you feel good, that you were able to help someone that was in more of a need then yourself. You can also claim your donation at the end of the year.

Most Charities are ran on donation only, with the economy being the way it is, these charities are suffering. This causing the causes they support to suffer as well. During the holiday season is the hardest for most charities, because more people need the extra help.

Have you ever been down and out, and needed someone to help you to get you by to the following week? I have and I thank the person that was there to help me get by. If we all pay it forward when good is done to us, and we make this a full circle effect everyone wins. I know the economy is in a bad place right now, but you don’t need to be rich to help another in need.

Don’t have money to donate? There are other ways one can donate, what about your time? When I was younger I would go around my neighborhood and help the elderly by cleaning their homes, I had one lady who would always insist on me eating lunch with her. It wasn’t a lot I was doing but giving her someone to talk to. Don’t really have the time? What about cleaning out those closets and toy bins? Maybe find some new to slightly used clothes, and toys and donating them. Did you know this year many children will go without Christmas.

How can we keep our children believing in Santa, if he doesn’t leave them anything under the tree? Next time you start to clean out those closets think about the child that could wear those.

How do you give back? We donate things our daughter out grows.
