Last Christmas I had the opportunity to work with a great company called Ornaments With Love. I was extremely impressed with their craftsmanship and their Christmas Ornaments. We have never been the type to purchase a new ornament every year, and to be honest I regret that. I want my daughter to have a whole mess of ornaments for her tree once she gets older. I want her to be able to share memories with her children from her childhood. Sure not all are fairy tales but they are still our memories.
A little bit about Ornaments With Love, they are a family owned company, and have been a retail gift business for over 50 years, during the last 17 or so years they have been seen through-out the Connecticut and Washington, DC area malls.
When Ornaments With Love contacted me again asking if I was interested in doing another review I jumped on it! With being back in Michigan for the first Christmas in 8 years, I wanted something that would represent that. With my daughter finally getting to know her cousins I wanted something that showed their friendship so we got the Penguin Friends Ornament.
I was shocked when it arrived, to be honest, I didn’t know the feet and beaks were pink, the picture on their website does not do this ornament justice. It is absolutely beautiful! I only have one small complaint about the ornament, the writing it smudging just a bit, I would love to see them maybe do a clear spray over the ornament to seal in the writing.
That is the only problem I seen, and it really isn’t much of a problem, however in time it may vanish completely, and with such a beautiful piece I want it to remain the way it is.
