Those Not Using Blogger, Not Good Enough For GFC

Google made the announcement yesterday that they will no longer allow those not using their blogging platform to use Google Friend Connect, and will be shutting it off March 2012 for all those outside of their blogging platform. What does that mean for those not on blogger, well it means all their hard work is gone.

Google is trying to get everyone to switch to Google+, I personally feel this is their way to get more people using the service. I’m having a hard time adapting to Google+. I think the main thing that turned me off to this service, is Google stating all accounts must be made available in the search. I feel now with them doing away with GFC for non blogspot bloggers, they are trying to force people to use the Google+ system.

Will I be using the Google+ system? I have yet to decide.

How do you feel about Google doing away with GFC for those not using their blogging system? Do you feel this is a smart move on their part? How do you think this will effect you and your blog?

I would love to hear what everyone things about this.
