Headed Back South

Well, things didn’t go as planned up North. I wish we would have at least got to spend a full Summer up here. However, it is, what it is and we will be headed back south within the next 2 months. I am super excited, and sad all at the same time. Some good and some bad came out of this trip.

I can say this trip helped me in so many ways. It made me realize how some people are, and it helped me get back into my mom’s life. Which I truly feel is something my daughter and I was really needing.

During the past 7 months of being here, I got to spend a lot of time with my family. My nieces and nephew are something else, and I will miss them all when we do head back South. HOWEVER, I will not let 6 years go by where I don’t see my family. I want to come back at least once a year, an I will be sending my daughter up here a month out of the Summer so she can be with family.

Plus a break is something the hubs and I need every so often, and I know my daughter will be in good hands.

Although my life has been crazy for the past 7 months, I am ready to get back to it being some what normal. I miss entering giveaways, I miss being able to chat with my friends online, and I miss having my own place. Staying with my sister though hasn’t been bad at all. :)

I promise when I get back to Tennessee to be more active online.
