Why I Hate Certain Companies…

Things just piss me off lately… I am so sick of these damn run arounds! Back track on March 10th my mom purchased me a year of netflix… I am guessing the amount was 95.88… I went to redeem the code when it asked for a CC# it stated the card would not be charged for 12 months.

Okay no biggy then I will be canceling before they can charge me… I hit the paypal as my payment method… Went to paypal only to see this…


Hmm well I am no rocket scientist or anything but that looks like Netflix did what they stated they was not going to do… and removed the 95.88 from my account… I call netflix to find out what the hell is going on… I am told that it is only to verify and it would go back into my account within 3 days… HOWEVER, I could call paypal give them this number and they could get it to me faster… I decided I could wait a few days, well it is now 5 days, and I am still seeing pending.

I decide to call paypal to find out what is going on, they tell me it is Netflix and they have yet to release those funds back to me… Okay this is when I get pissed…

RELEASE THE FUNDS BACK TO ME… THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN THE FUNDS IN THAT FINE PRINT IT STATES I WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR 12 MONTHS… THEY ARE STATING THIS IS TO VERIFY… WELL THE SHIT WAS PAID THEY DIDNT HAVE TO VERIFY ANYTHING. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS COMPANY GET THEIR SYSTEM FIXED.

So I informed paypal what netflix told me, and he took the number and emailed it to someone who know…

So I call netflix back to inform them they have to cancel it… I want access to my money damn it… Netflix informs me it isn’t them but paypal, that the transaction is only to verify the account and it goes back in… they state it went back in on the 10th and they don’t have the money… He then wanted to know if I called my bank… My bank for what this is paypal… not my bank you moron… I am so tired of talking to customer service over seas…

I will never recommend Netflix to anyone… Sure they have some good movies, and it is rather cheap. However, what makes a company complete is their customer service and the way they do things… taking the amount of the full transaction out on an already paid membership is BS… the way they handled this all is BS… their customer service is shit. I understand taking out a dollar to verify the account is good… at the gas pump when I pay with credit they take out 1 dollar to verify, then when the charge goes through my dollar is put back and the amount for my gas is removed.

So I call back paypal I let them know I will try to be as nice as I can, let them know what was going on… again netflix has not released funds… well we went from the money being back into my account in 72 hours… (it has been 5 days) to it can take up to another 14 after they email these one people… so when i call back I am not in the best of moods…

The person was “didn’t the last person you talked to say it could take 24 to 48 hours…) NO HE SAID 14 DAYS…

I know paypal is not the ones at fault for this mess… I know it is netflx and how they do their business… As I stated on the phone with Netflix… I will never refer anyone to them, and after the 12 months I will be canceling.

I personally love Hulu.

And I thank my momma for getting me the Netflix, and Netflix is lucky I had the money in my account to cover their BS or my paypal would have been over drawn and I would have been even more pissed.
