When we were in Michigan our daughter fell in love with a few dogs. She had always been a cat person, however, seeing how awesome dogs are she has now decided she wanted a dog. We have been searching for the perfect pet for her, we have let her know all of the responsibilities she will have and she is fine with that. I also think I am ready to bring in another family member.
When she was younger we had a lab mix and he was an awesome dog. However, when we moved we had to give him away, and it was a sad day. I loved that dog, I guess that is why I never got another one, because I didn’t feel right about doing so.
Now that Gillian is older, I know she is ready for a forever friend that she can love and take care of, and something that will protect her if need be. Within the next few days, we will be making the final arrangements in bringing home our forever friend. We still have a few more things to take care of before we can give this puppy an amazing home.
I just hope Gillian knows what she is getting herself into!
