When it comes to losing weight, one of the main challenges is getting everyone in the household on the same page. You cannot lose weight if someone else in the house is eating differently. My family is in the process of completely changing out eating habits. We’re removing red meats from our diet, and including more seafood, chicken, and turkey. We will be eating more BEANS. You know that saying “Beans, beans good for your heart, the more you eat the more you fart”.
We have been doing a lot of research, and beans are not only loaded with protein, but they’re also extremely good for you. Yay beans.
We will be making our own sweet treats, no need to grab the box of ice cream. Instead we will grab other yummy sweets that will fulfill our sweet tooth, while helping us drop the weight. My goal is to hit 140 pounds. I don’t ever recall being that small, I know in 8th grade I was almost 180 pounds.
I want to look good in everything I wear even if it’s just some sweat pants!
My husband and I will be doing this together, I hope his motivation will help keep me motivated. He likes to compete, and he does a lot of shit talking. However, this talk makes me feel like crap, and makes me want to give up. Although my husband’s intentions are good, I have asked him to lay off the competing with me, just help to encourage me to keep going.
We will be breaking out the wii, and doing some of those dance games. Losing weight shouldn’t be boring, if we keep it boring we will fail. Turn the music up and get moving!
