When my daughter was younger, we could never have enough blankets, with her being born towards the end of Summer, having extra blankets was a must. If you have a child, you know what I am talking about, my daughter was a baby that spit up a lot, so it was either wash blankets whenever she got sick, or have a nice stock pile. I remember when we came to Tennessee my mother in law was in shock with all the blankets my daughter had, but I am sorry you can never have to much of one item when you have a baby in the house.
One thing I like about fleece blankets is they can be enjoyed by the whole family. We still have some of the blankets my daughter used when she was a baby, and when it gets a bit chilly in the house I break them out, so we can cuddle. My husband always thought I was silly for all the blankets our daughter had when she was younger, but he doesn’t seem to fuss much when he gets cold and I toss him one to use. One thing I like about the fleece blankets is they’re so soft!
