With living in Tennessee we have a lot of different events that take place in Memphis. We have Memphis in May which includes the music festival, as well as the BBQ Festival. We also have Elvis Week, this event brings in thousands of people to Graceland, where they show their tributes the man of rock.
They have several different events going on this week, and if you have ever been to Graceland you know how beautiful it is on the inside. My daughter and I got to take a tour in 2007, and it was amazing. We were able to see his cars, get in his plane, and even view his grave site.
Although, you are allowed to take pictures you’re not allowed to use the flash so unless you have a high end camera the pictures don’t turn out all that well.
One of my favorite parts of Graceland was his Jungle Room. It is beyond describable one of the favorites about the room was the water features. I have always been amazed with how one puts a wall in that has a waterfall attached. If I ever become rich I want a waterfall in my home, the air would be perfect with running water all the time. Plus, it’s very soothing…
