I am a cheese lover! However, I know cheese isn’t the best for you, so we have switched to low fat cheese. One thing I have noticed is you cannot tell much of a difference. Any meal I cook if it calls for cheese I try to go with the ones that do have the lower fat. One of my favorite cheeses, to have stocked in the fridge is low fat string cheese. Not many calorie, and it is a quick and easy snack.
When we first went to eating healthier, we cut cheese out completely. I started educating myself about healthy eating, and new I had to bring cheese back into our diet.
I think that is why I failed at so many attempts to lose weight, is because I was removing the things that were needed. If you are trying to lose weight making small changes can make a huge difference, such has your cheese selection. When you get the products that have a reduced fat content you will see a big change.
Another thing I learned is when you remove something from your diet that you love, you will be tempted to over eat it once you have the chance. Making small changes so that you still can have the foods you like is the way to go verse removing those foods completely from your diet.
