Summer Camping

I think winter is officially here, it has been really cold! The other day my daughter was asking when we were going camping. Our family loves camping, and it has been awhile since we were able to get out and enjoy ourselves. I like to use camping as away to break away from the fast speeds of life. It seems we have become dependent on electronics, and being able to put them all down for a few days is much needed for all of us.

When I was younger mom would send us off to Summer Camp for a two week stretch, those were some of the best summers we ever had. I would love to be able to do the same for my daughter, so I have been doing some research to see what my options are in this area of the world.

If you are wanting to see what options are available in your area, just do a quick search of summer camp and your state. For instance if you’re searching for Summer Camps in New York, you would search Summer Camp New York.

I have found a few different ones I am going to check into, I know she would have a blast. Some of the best memories I have when I was a kid revolved around the summer camping trips we took. I remember the camp counselors waking us all up at dawn and a handful of us running down to the freezing cold lake and jumping in! I was the only one that Summer that did it EVERYDAY. It was freezing cold but so worth it.

Have you ever been to Summer Camp?
