Finding Quality Eyeglasses

I have been wearing glasses since about 7th grade! I have spent thousands of dollars on eye exams and eye glasses. Finding quality eyeglasses for a reasonable price can sometimes be a challenge. I want something that will not only look good, but will last me a while, and not cost me a bundle.

Often times finding that perfect pair can be tough. Have you ever been into an eye doctors office and seen all the eyeglass displays! It can be a bit intimidating.

You have a the guys section, the girls section, the kids section. Then they have it all broke down into even more sections… with the cheap ones, the name brand ones, the really expensive ones. That isn’t all though, some places even have it broke down with the round frames, the metal frames, the plastic frames.

I am the one that’s like point me to the cheap ones. The last time I paid out of pocket for glasses and a exam it was close to $400. The exam alone was $100. While I do want cheaper because the prescription on glasses here in Tennessee only lasts a year, I want good quality. I have a fear or something happening when I am sleeping, so I sleep with my glasses on. So having good made eyeglasses is a must!

What’s one thing you dislike about the whole getting new eyeglasses routine?
