Journey Gym 70 Day Challenge Day 39

Fat to Thin

I amaze myself every single day! I just finished day 39 of this fitness challenge. I did my morning workout, and my nightly workout, I also got in about 30 minutes of walk it out on the Wii.

This is a 70 day fitness challenge, the first half I did alright, but I knew I could do better, changed my eating almost 100%, eat less more often, and my more often is lots of greens. I also added a lot more protein to the mix. When I weighed myself this morning, I was down another half a pound.

I plan to get some batteries for the other bathroom scale tomorrow so I can check out the body fat % and my muscle mass. Sine starting this challenge, it has helped a ton with my depression, I am slowly starting to feel better about myself, I still get the ugh feeling, and feel lost, but I know the light is coming soon, I just have to push myself harder.

While one can put on the pounds like they’re going out of style, it takes a hell of a lot longer to remove that fat from your body. I have been a bigger person almost all my life, the lowest I can remember from adulthood was 205 and that was right before I got pregnant with my daughter.

Highest at adulthood was 315, been there a few times and dropped it a few more. I am less than my highest, but higher than more lowest, I want to be lower than my lowest, and I know it’s only a matter of time, I am very committed to the Journey Gym, and I know as long as I have that commitment, the Journey Gym will help me along my journey to becoming healthier and getting fit.

I have 30 more days of this challenge, and I am hoping to lose at least 10 more pounds.

  1. Jammie,

This post almost brought me to tears. I love your candor and transparency. Thank you for working with journey gym on your health journey. We are here for you 100%. I mean that. The only thing stopping you is you stopping. That is our mantra within the company. Every day matters, every workout ads up, every meal brings a new chance to improve our nutrition. You are inspiring us here at journey gym. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    John

    • Thanks John! Sometimes you just get to that point in life, where you get tired, and you cannot keep going on like you have, and you break. Well, I am to that point, I know I need to change a lot, and small things make a huge difference. When I first started the Journey Gym, I was lucky to get in 5 minutes, I was so ugh feeling, now I am working out twice a day, and I am hoping to make it more within the coming weeks. Some of the things are still hard for me to do, but marching in place does the trick, I want the weight off my knees so I can do the jump squats, I want my arms to be able to hold my weight so I can do the push ups, one day at a time!

  2. Jammie,

You move people with your candor. Keep it going as you are being über real, which is what our clients need to hear and how they need to be.

After you are done with the 70 Day Challenge, we should get you into the 2nd phase of our 70 Day Challenge, for 2nd and 3rd timers and the when you are at a spot you feel great about we should get you into our infomercial. Being on TV regularly will help you stay pumped on never going back.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks,

    John

    • Hi John,

I would love to continue to the second phase of the 70 day challenge! I would also love to discuss being in the infomercial for Journey Gym, I think it would be a great opportunity, as well as keep me motivated to drop the weight. I cannot make no promise on when I will be at that spot where I feel great, I am working to get there, because I want it more than anyone. One day at a time!

  3. Sounds like a plan Jammie.

  4. Jammie,

I am so proud of you and the dedication that you have! I really feel that this is going to show and get you the results that you want! I have been watching from day one and have seen how far you have come. Keep up the great work!

    • Thank you, Jen! It’s hard, but I want this more than anything. I know if I blog it, I will keep at it, I am way past the 30 days, working out now is a part of my day. I wouldn’t have made it this far though without the daily emails. Trust, me I attempted the 70 day challenge LOL in Feb. when I got the Journey Gym, the 70 day challenge, IS not the same without those emails.
