My Journey Has Only Begun

Fat to Thin

As you go through life you are often thrown curve balls. Some will hurt, some with hurt not so bad, some will teach you a lesson, and some will keep you on the same path you had been traveling. The past month I was thrown a curve ball, I tried to hit it, but I missed. A lot of things happened and only those close to me know the details.

With this curve ball, I did get off track a little on the working out, not on the losing weight, but the working out I did. I had to put my energy to other things, while the working out shouldn’t have taken a place on the back burner, I wasn’t in my right mind to keep it on the front burner.

While my time doing the 70 day Journey Gym Challenge is over, I am down 20 pounds in the past three months. I am not sure on the other numbers I haven’t taken them. I do know the skirt I couldn’t get over my hips, I can now get over my hips, PLUS they will button and zip without me having to struggle.

I am going to keep on working on losing weight. My journey has only just begun, I have faith that God will lead me in the right direction from here on out.

If you struggle with your weight, and life throws you a curve ball and you get off track, just get right back on track, being healthy is a lifetime commitment, not just once in awhile.

Good luck to you on your journey. It’s definitely hard to keep on track at times – and even easier, once we’ve had a “bad” (diet) day to talk ourselves out of continuing (thinking “well I blew it…again.” – but you’re right – the important thing is to just pick yourself up and continue. It will happen.
