Restarting the 70 Day Journey Gym Challenge

Yup, you read that one right! Life through me some curve balls, and towards the end of the 70 day challenge, I fell of course. Not because I wanted to, but because other things came up that I needed to deal with. Now that things are working to get back on track, I need to start focusing more on my health.

During the first 70 day challenge, I lost almost 20 pounds, I went from a size 32 in pants to a size 26! The 26’s are still a tad snug, but I can get them up and zipped without laying in bed, so that my friend is a good thing. I would love to drop at least two more pant sizes before the end of the year, so I better get busy!

Since I haven’t been working out I am going to start with the smaller workouts, and work myself up again. I would also like to get a DDR mat for the Wii, and see about getting in some dancing. I can tell I haven’t been working out, because my knees are starting to kill me from doing little things.

Although, we are still eating healthy, without the working out, the numbers are not going no where. I can say this, at least they’re not going up!

One day, I will down to a size I am happy with, until then I need to focus on getting there, then I can work to maintain.
