I Got A Slim Do you?

I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Ambassadors program and have been provided with a wireless device and three months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.

What usually happens when the power goes out? Your cell phone goes dead too… well, that is what happens here in my house anyways! Thankfully, they come out with all sorts of neat products that help with the oops moments in life. To me the power going out and the phone going dead about the same time happen to be an oops moment.

With being a Verizon Wireless Ambassador, I sometimes get surprise gadgets in the mail to check out. This time around it was the Motorola Slim Power Pack 2000.

Motorola Slim Power Pack 2000

This handy gadget only measures 10mm and can easily fit in your purse, diaper bag, or even your pocket. Don’t let its small size fool you though, with its ability to hold 2000 mAh, you will have enough power to fully charge your smartphone. One thing I like about the Motorola Slim Power Pack 2000, is it also has a USB port which will allow me to charge two devices at once!

With our daughter always letting her phone go dead, this little gadget will get a workout when the lights go out!

Using the Motorola Slim Power Pack 2000 is simple, all you need to do is either hook your use cable to the side of the gadget in the proper spot, or used the attached red micro.

Charging Using Power Pack

Once the power pack is plugged into the device it will automatically start to charge. You can tell the device is charging by the power level LEDS on the front of the power pack. Once your device has charged the power pack shuts off, so you don’t over charge your device. If you’re unsure about how much power the power pack has left, simply press the power button and the lights will turn on, the less lights the less power you have.

Charging the power pack is also simple, plug the charging cord to the proper spot and plug it into an outlet, the gadget will blink as it is charging, once it’s fully charged it powers off.

This little gadget would have came in handy when we were in Scottsboro, AL. I did have my car charger so I would take small trips to the car to charge my Blackberry Q10, having the power pack would have made things a lot easier.

You to can get some extra power by going to Verizon’s website. For a limited time you can get the Motorola Slim Power Pack 2000 for $34.99, trust me if you’re a mom on the go, this is a gadget you want hanging around in your purse!
