If you go through the posts here on The Neat Things in Life, you will see that I have struggled with my weight for a long time. While I start to workout and I start to lose weight, I end up back in a depression state and all that work goes down the drain. Back in 2009, my husband and I discussed having a second child, after 8 years on birth control pills, we stopped taking them.
If you follow the site, you know that after I stopped I also stopped having my monthly. It wasn’t until almost 3 years after I got off the pills, to where my body went back to normal. Well, some what normal, while I have had testing done at the doctor and they say all my levels are fine. I have to disagree.
My monthly now lasts more than 10 days at a time, and it seems to be on the heavy side. Without going into much details, this leads me to believe I am not normal when it comes to my hormone levels. With wanting a second child until I get my hormones back on track, there will not be a second baby. This upsets me, so I am doing what I have to, to get things back on track health wise with my body.
I have been working with Nick Delgado and his staff and taking several dietary supplements from the Delgado Protocol, in order to help with my hormones.
One thing I like about the products from the Delgado Protocol, is they’re all natural supplements. I don’t have to worry about there being any chemicals in the products that will make my hormone levels worse. Nick Delgado works closely with his patients to ensure they’re taking the right supplements.
Before I was sent products to take, I took a wellness survey which is completely free, so that Dr. Delgado and his staff new a little bit more about me, and my health.
After taking the survey the harsh truth came to me from his staff, if I want another baby I have to do my part, sure they can work with me send me some supplements, but as long as I stayed my weight, the supplements wouldn’t help much. So I have to play my part as well, and as I told Dr. Delgado’s staff, I am willing and ready.
Below was the plan for me and the supplements they felt were needed to help get my body back in working order.
Lean N Fit (1 daily) for weight loss and energy
Estroblock – for Acne and body Fat
Estroblock Cell Stabilizer (2 capsules 2x’s daily) for hormonal balance
Delgado Protein (1 scoop daily)

*15-30 minutes Aerobics or cardio exercises.

*5-20 miles of riding bike
Sex: 6 times a week
It took me a bit to get on track fully with the working out. Thanksgiving was coming, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to stick to things. I watched a Documentary on Netflix called the 600 pound woman. After watching this something clicked in me, I wasn’t going to be that 600 pound woman. Sure I am half her size, but if I don’t do something, I could soon be that size, and I couldn’t let it happen.
So with the above supplements, and the workout plan I got off my ass, and I started making changes. If I want another child, if I want to be a live for the child I already have, I HAVE TO TAKE CONTROL OF MY WEIGHT.
I have been documenting everything, and logging it every night over at Dizzy Mommy Chronicles. For those who don’t follow that site, I will see about doing a weekly update here. As of today, I am on day 9 of working out daily, I do three small workouts a day. At the end of day 7 I wanted to see my progress, so I added up everything I did through out the week, and I was amazed!
Total Numbers After Week One
650 curls with two 10 pound weights
690 Kettle bell swings with a 15 pound kettle bell
350 overhead presses with two 10 pound weights
90.5 miles on the exercise bike
LOOK at those numbers!
Tuesday I will be doing a weight in and taking measurements. Today I added a new exercise into my daily, I will not do deadlifts with a 15 pound kettle bell.
I know as long as I stick with the workout, drop weight, continue to on the Delgado Protocol, I will not only achieve my goal weight of 150, but also conceive baby #2.
