I have learned that when you set goals, you’re more likely to achieve those goals. However, when it comes to setting goals, you need to set those goals within reason, so you don’t fail to meet the goal you set for yourself.
For example, with me working to lose weight, I have a few goals in place. The first goal being to lose 20 pounds by the end of January. I am doing several things to help me meet that goal, so I have made smaller goals, to help me achieve the big goal.
The smaller goals include working out at least 6 days a week, and I try to get in three small workouts a day.
I have recently switched things up a bit, and I am focusing more on riding the exercise bike, then lifting weights. I have did 3 weeks of weight lifting, now I am moving to focusing on the bike. You can read my goals for the bike over on Dizzy Mommy Chronicles, where I will be keeping updates of my progress. With this being a lifestyle change, I want to blog my journey.
If my stories, and my struggles can help another mom, that I have done my job! I know losing weight isn’t easy, I have been fat most my life. So this is a big deal to me, and I will keep going all the way. There is no giving up when it comes to being healthy, so I can be here for a long time for my daughter. Like I said over on Dizzy Mommy Chronicles, one pedal, one kettle, one weight lift at a time, I will come out the winner!
