Winter Weather Headed To The Mid-South

I knew the 70 degrees weather we had yesterday was to good to be true. We have an ice storm warning in effect for most of the Mid-South. I live in a rather small town, and I have a feeling the power will be going out. We are in the process of cooking up a few different meals in case the power does go out, we don’t have to worry about cooking.

We got a little gas in the car, and fire wood handy in case we end up outside by a fire to stay warm. To be honest, if the power goes out, I am getting in bed and sleeping until it comes back on! My bed is nice and warm even on the coldest days, as long as the two dogs, daughter, and hubby join in.

Remember when bad weather hits, to make sure to have gas in vehicles, lots of blankets to stay warm, and flashlights. If you have to use candles, DO NOT leave them unattended, all it takes is a small movement for the candle to fall, and you don’t want nothing bad to happen in an already stressful situation.

I have a few posts that I need to get done, if the power goes out I will get them up as soon as I possibly can. However, no power means no internet, which means I have no access to the outside world.

I hope everyone stays safe and warm as the ice storm approaches.
