With the raise of hands how many of you got a gift card for Christmas? Out of all those who got gift cards, how many got gift cards for a place you would either not eat at, or not shop at? For all those that like to give gift cards as gifts, check out Giftly.
Giftly, is a service that allows you to send money while also giving the recipient a suggestion on how to spend the money. You can send anywhere from $25 to $500 using this service and there are many different areas on which you can suggest where the money be spent.
Some suggestions include coffee at any cafe, a beer at any bar, a dinner at any restaurant, and even a movie at any theater.
A Giftly, can be sent in a few different ways either via email, text message, or a greeting card in the mail. Once the person receiving the Giftly code, they can then go to the site to redeem their code. One great thing about redeeming the code, is they can either redeem it as credit on their credit card, or via paypal.
What does this mean? It means you will not purchase gift cards that may never get used. Often times gift cards are purchased and the one receiving will never use it, so the company that the gift card was purchased from get free money!
So let’s stop wasting money on gift cards that may get tossed to a drawer only to expire before anything is done with it, and send Giftly, which NEVER expire, and will allow the person receiving the gift to use it where ever they would like!
