JD’s Salsa in Seconds Review

Salsa is what I would call a staple in my home. My daughter loves salsa and chips and I love-making different dishes using salsa. Whether is be adding it to burritos or smothering it over chicken. Recently, my family had the opportunity to check out JD’s Salsa Seasoning Mix. JD Salsa is a newer company out of Coon Rapids, MN. The company is a family owned and operated business, and thus far they have been selling mostly through trade-shows and festivals.

The JD Salsa Seasoning Mix comes in mild and hot, this is a gluten-free, MSG free, no sugar added, no preservatives added, no cholesterol, low sodium, all natural blend of spices and herbs.

We received both the hot and mild 30 second salsa seasoning mix, the hot and mild salsa seasoning table shakers, and the bloody Mary seasoning mix.

One thing I liked right away, is the fact I can make salsa within seconds and all I need besides the seasoning mix is some petite tomatoes.

Making the salsa I found to be very simple, all I needed to do is add a scoop of the salsa seasoning mix to a 14.5 ounce can of petite tomatoes, then I can either use the salsa immediately or I can chill it for 30 minutes and enjoy it with some tortilla chips. It’s recommended for better results to chill the product, however, we did have it before it was chilled and I thought it was pretty darn tasty!

Making this salsa is so simple my 12-year-old daughter can even make it on her own, when she is in the mood for salsa and chips. Once you have the seasonings added to the tomatoes you stir and enjoy, or chill and enjoy later.

One container of seasoning blend will make 25 to 30, 1 cup serving sizes. I have not tried the hot seasoning mix, I found the mild to be pretty spicy, so I can only imagine how spicy the hot blend is. I also have yet to check the bloody mary mix, with it having many of the seasonings I like, I know this blend will be awesome on chicken.

We have been using the table shaker seasoning mix for steaks and burgers.

You can honestly use the JD Salsa Seasoning Mix for just about anything, I took a pound of ground chicken, a can of dark kidney beans, a can of petite tomatoes, and 2 scoops of the seasoning mix and made a dip for tortilla chips, this was a big hit with my family. I cannot wait to make other family dishes using the same salsa blend.

While a large portion of JD Salsa Seasoning Mixes have been purchased at trade-shows and festivals, you can get your hands on the special blended salsa mix by purchasing it directly from the JD Salsa site. The price of the product depends on how much you purchase, you can purchase the same products I received for review for $50, which I believe is worth it considering how much product you get.

Make sure to follow JD Salsa on their social media channels to stay up to date on any sales they maybe having.
