How many of you have heard of PetBox? The first time I heard of this service was a few weeks ago. PetBox, is like other box subscription services, the only difference, is this service is for our furrbabies. It’s currently the only box service for both dogs and cats that offer premium pet products. The great thing about this service, is you get to pick exactly what goes into the box.
PetBox is the only box for both dogs and cats, it’s also the only service that allows you to pick what goes into the box. However, if you’re like me, you can choose for it to be a surprise. All products that go into the boxes are made in the US and the boxes always ship within 2 business days. You don’t have to wait until a certain day for your PetBox to ship.
With being an animal lover, one great thing about this company is they also give back. For every PetBox sold, a rescue animal is fed. PetBox has partnered with a variety of shelters and rescue programs through-out the country to give back. On Fridays, PetBox fans get together for #PetBoxFridays, this is where they nominate shelters to receive the week’s shipment of food and other supplies. PetBox couldn’t do this alone though and have teamed up with BOGO Bowl to supply pet food to the shelters and rescues each week.
How It Works
Bones and Yoda, were able to check out the PetBox for dogs first hand. Each box comes with about 5 to 6 items, the items we received were… a can of dog food, a hydro ball, a collapsible water/food bowl, oral hygiene solution, tick remover, herbal supplements, and microwavable dog treats.
The boys seem to be very happy with their box, and I was very pleased with the collapsible water/food dish as well as the oral hygiene solution.
As a family we like to do a lot of hiking, and the dogs tend to get thirsty, we usually will dig a small hole in the ground and pour a little bottle water into it, the carry bowl will allow us to re-hydrate the dogs on the go.
The boys liked the hydro-ball and the treats. This was the first time I ever seen treats that you microwave!
