I first tried The Mighty Mug on my coffee table, while it gripped it didn’t grip the best, and I thought my first thoughts of the mug was going to be spot on.

I took the mighty mug to the kitchen and sat it on my counter-top, the counter is a smoother surface, went to go pick up the mighty mug with the slide motion, like I usually pick up my cups, which is probably why I spill everything, and it wouldn’t MOVE. I pulled at it and tugged at it, and that mug was going no where… I finally lifted the mug straight up and it came up with no problems.

Again, I ran into the tugging and fighting with the mug when I was getting me some ice from the freezer. I have to remember when using the mighty mug, I must lift and not slide, because the mighty mug does grip!

So does The Mighty Mug live up to its name? Yes, as long as you use it on flat surfaces. My daughter likes the mighty mug so much she thinks she is going to claim it on me, however, this is a product I will be using daily in my office, not only will it prevent me from making a mess on my floor, it will save me a mess on my desk.
