Bachelorette’s Night In: Ideas for Staying In Instead of Going Out

It’s the last time you’ll be a single woman. You want to do something special, but what? The usual party games just don’t seem like a good fit for you and you don’t really want to go out. Here’s what you can do instead.

Groom Quiz Show

This one can be fun, but it requires a little advanced planning. The bride’s maids need to quiz the groom beforehand via email or maybe text. Get answers to a bunch of questions – 50 to 100 will provide enough entertainment for the whole night.

Make sure to ask him all sorts of questions, ranging from the very personal to the silly and mundane. For example, you could ask him about the hottest place he’s had sex with his bride-to-be. Or, the most embarrassing thing he’s never told the future Mrs Right.

Gather up all of the questions, and then quiz the bride-to-be. For every answer she gets right, the bride’s maids take a drink. For every one they get wrong, she drinks.

Make a Penis Cake

What would a bachelorette party be without a penis cake? You can buy a cheap pan online and make one up in advance, or make one during the party and eat it at the end of the night. Very phallic. But also you know, very appropriate.

Play Adult Card Games

If you’re not going out to a strip club, might as well play card games for adults. This one can be as fun and racey as you want it to be. Of course, there’s the classic Cards Against Humanity. But, you can play others as well like Mobscenity and Keep Calm.

If you can incorporate some kind of drinking element into the game, it stays interesting for the rest of the night. of course, you don’t have to drink. But, after a few rounds of CAH, you might start to recognize the cards unless you just bought a new expansion pack.

The drinking sort of helps with the social lubrication and makes things a little more funny. You know how that goes.

Dress In Drag

You know what you’ll look like in your dress. So, why not switch it up with your BFFs? Don tuxedos and see what it’s like to be the groom and groomsmen for the night. You can stay in and drink whiskey and smoke cigars.

It’s definitely not lady-like, but hey, this is a bachelorette party.

You can all share stories about your past relationships, why they didn’t work out. Oh yeah, and eat your penis cake.

Conclusion

Most bachelorette parties start and end at a bar of some kind. But, more and more, they’re moving to more intimate settings. You don’t have to go out, and you definitely don’t need to spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself these days. Just get your friends together, make a simple plan, and have fun. That’s all you really need, and everyone will have a good time. Guaranteed.
