Are you looking to build memories with the kids this Halloween season? Crafting can be very relaxing and a great way to allow the kids to express their creativity. Oriental Trading has always been that one place I can go for cheap crafting products that bring hours of fun to the family. During the Christmas season we do ornaments, during Valentines we make our own Valentines and Halloween is no different. This year I wanted to do something from my child hood, well some what from my childhood.

When I was younger we would make haunted houses for our Church Halloween party, so when I seen the bird houses on Oriental Trading website I knew we had to make haunted or Halloween bird houses. I knew the kids would love decorating them and it would give me those happy memories I love making with my daughter and nieces.

We ordered the kits to make things simple. The parts didn’t snap together tight enough for my taste, so we did use some crafting glue on them. I also got some sticky foam Halloween decorations, some spiders and spider webs, because Halloween is not the same without some spiders!

I already had the paints on hand, but if you need paints Oriental Trading has paints to help bring your haunted houses to life. One great thing about crafting is you can make anything your own. The decorations are pretty much endless. Whether you want to bedazzle your house or make it spookier, Oriental Trading has a HUGE selection of crafting emblems that will make your house unique.

So if you’re looking for fun things to do this Halloween with the kids, that won’t cost you an arm and a leg check out Oriental Trading craft section, you will not be disappointed.
