Fall Crafting With The Toddler

I received product samples in exchange for my honest review. This review is based strictly on my opinion and others will vary based on product and experience.

One of the first things that come to mind when I think of the holidays is stress. We have to meal plan, prepare and of course shop. I will be the first to admit I LOVE shopping, but not with crowds. Shopping with crowds I can really do without in my life and I am sure many would agree. One way I like to help relief some of the holiday stress is crafting with one of my favorite toddlers. Thanks to Oriental Trading, they always have my back when it comes to crafting supplies. Whether I am looking for adult crafting products or crafting projects I can do with my niece.

Recently, I ordered a lot of fun Fall and Thanksgiving crafting items from Oriental Trading, my niece loves painting and gluing things together, so I knew we had to get something she could paint and something she could get creative with when gluing pieces together to make wonderful creations.

We had fun painting pumpkin piggy banks.

The container with the orange lid is supposed to be for paints, however, I found that they make perfect containers for water so we can rinse off our brushes. My niece though she was pretty awesome painting a pumpkin by herself, when we were done, she had to paint another one. Painting with the toddler can be so relaxing the things she says while painting crack me up. I laugh she paints it is a win win.

We even had fun making Thanksgiving Turkeys.

I didn’t have a glue gun, but some E6000 glue did the trick. When our crafting day was complete she discovered my beads and of course she had to stake her claim on her favorite ones.

The holidays aren’t meant to be stressful, so if you’re finding things are becoming overwhelming, head on over to Oriental Trading to grab up some crafting products, then grab your favorite toddler and forget about the hustle and bustle of life for awhile while you craft with the kids.
