Working Has Many Benefits

It has been 12 years sine I have worked outside of the home. Just recently, I removed myself from my comfort zone and I got a job. I have my sister to thank for that though, she got me in where she works. I am now an official housekeeper.

So what does this mean, it means I get paid to exercise, I get paid to keep my mind off things, I get paid to be out of the house. Housekeeping while you think would be pretty easy, but it’s NOT. My body hates me, my knees are in pain, but at the end of the day, I feel so good about myself. The place I work has so many perks, I can use the pool as long as they’re not busy, the exercise room as long as they’re not busy. They’re flexible, they recognize the hard workers.

I have only been working a week, so I know in time I will get better and the work will get easier on me. But so far everything is good.

There is one thing I don’t like about working, I have to set an alarm and I don’t have my full freedom any longer, but more pros come from working. I have started a new chapter in my life and right now I am just running with it.
