The Beach Boardwalk

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a famous oceanfront amusement park that was featured in the cult-classic movie The Lost Boys. The boardwalk has everything you and your family could need including classic coasters, a historic carousel, arcade games, miniature golf, and concession stands. During the summer there are free concerts on the beach on Fridays and free outdoor movies on Wednesdays.

The Wharf

The Santa Cruz Wharf hosts many popular events including April’s Jazz on the Wharf music festival and Woodies on the Wharf classic car show in June. The pier stretches a half-mile and brings in over 2 million visitors every year. It provides the best views of frolicking sea lions and other sea life. There are gift shops selling saltwater taffy and a wine bar that boasts spectacular sunset views. You have your choice of ten restaurants serving up the freshest seafood in the area. On the pier, you can fish, whale-watch, and rent kayaks and fishing boats.

Roaring Camp

Roaring Camp is a pet-friendly park where many people host birthday parties and other special events. You and your family can ride 19th-century steam trains through the beautiful redwoods to the summit of Bear Mountain. Some trains will take you directly to Santa Cruz Beach for some fun, sand, and surf. Roaring Camp hold several popular events including the Mother’s Day Brunch With Mom, Eggstraordinary Easter Egg Hunt, Thomas And Percy’s Halloween Party, and the Brewgrass Festival.

The Crow’s Nest

The Crow’s Nest is one of Santa Cruz’ most coveted eateries located right on the beach. Patrons are treated to breathtaking views of the wharf, lighthouse, and Santa Cruz Harbor.
