1. We know how creative Berleen is with her terrific tee-shirts and such, so how about you? Do you draw anything or perhaps your name in the sand when you go to the beach?

Omg it has been years since I have been to the beach, when I was a wee child I would draw in the sand.

2. Kimber doesn’t always leave her house. I wonder if she knows what is out her back door. What is out your back door?

A swimming pool, lots of woods and weeds that need cleaned up.

3. Do you prefer the beach, a pool or a lake? Why?

Pool we live in a snakey area. EEK

4. What is something recently that happened to you that you are REALLY excited about?

A lot of things, but I can not say yet. :p

5. I am fortunate that I come from a very close family. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive? If not did you ever meet them?

My great grandpa is still a live and yes I met all my great grandparents.

6. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group? Tell us about it.

I do not speak in front of large groups of people.

7. Have you ever bungee jumped? Would you ever bungee jump?

NO, and HELL NO. I will die if I ever did that.

8. How strong emotionally do you think you are?

Not strong at all. I guess it would depend on why I needed to be strong emotionally. If I lost someone very close to me I do not think I would be strong at all, I know I wouldn’t be. I would try though for my daughter.

9. Kimber and Berleen still have NEVER met, yet they are best friends. What is the first thing you notice about people when you meet them?

To be honest their attitude. If they have the I am better then you attitude then I do not need them in my life. I like to surround myself with people that have a great sense of humor and know we are all equal.

10. Who do you mess with the most?

What do you mean by mess with?

11. Who was the last person you talked to on a landline?

Landline what is that? I use Cell and magic jack :)

12. I finally saw Avatar this week. What was the last movie you watched long after it came out and loved?

Twilight. I did not see that until it was out almost a year. Now the new ones I watch shortly after they come out.

13. What did you dream about last night?

I didn’t dream last night, probably because I was fighting for some bed from Dear Husband.

This is a hard one, I removed nosey people from my life. I guess when she was still in it, it was always “Ring ring (cell phone ringing the minute I leave the house) Where are you going?” (Please note this is not my MIL she would sue me)

2. Who makes you happiest right now?

My daughter and husband make me the happiest.

3. Would you consider yourself to be spoiled?

I am not sure, I get what I want if we got money, but I wouldn’t say spoiled.

4. Do you want to be famous one day?

Not if it includes being rich and stupid. I would rather be poor and smart LOL.

5. Could you handle being in the military?

No, I would tell the Sargent to stick a BEEP BEEP BEEP in it.

6. Do you believe in Karma?

I sure the hell do. What goes around comes around 10 times harder.

7. What’s the stupidest thing you ever did with your cell phone?

Umm I don’t do stupid things with my cell phone.

My husband knows all my secrets.

It depends when it comes too cooking my sister, she makes some weird stuff.

I have been with my S/O for almost 11 years, I don’t care if he gets ticked off no more… So NOTHING because I don’t care if he gets mad LOL

Yup, my daughter she will fuss about something so I will mess with her more.

12. What’s crazy to you?

The weather is crazy to me… Did you know in 1944 on this day it was only 80 degrees. Now a days it is 100+ So when I hear another story about ” When I was your age I worked in the fields for 12 hours a day, and I” GUESS WHAT WHEN YOU WAS MY AGE IT WAS ABOUT 30 DEGREES COOLER. So stick that in your corn pipe and smoke it. hah

Thursday Thunks: Kitchen Wonderland

1. Billy Mays died about a year ago. What kitchen gadgets have you bought that you’ve used less than three times? What are they?

Since I am poor I do not buy much of anything kitchen wise. I did buy a Hamilton Beach slicer/chopper thingy ma-jig and have only used it ONCE. Good thing it was marked from 70$ to 35$ someday it might come in handy ya never know. :)

2. What celebrity would you like to shake some sense into, and why?

Mel Gibson, because I think he is an amazing actor and he is just “acting” lika a jackass right now.

3. Jimmy Buffett just did on concert to benefit the victims of the Gulf. Name a Buffett song that you like.

4. How did you feel about Ringo Starr turned 70?

Just another number if ya ask me…

5. What sport do you absolute see no point in watching?

I see no point in watching golf, but then again I wasn’t screwing Tiger either, er uhm I mean I don’t watch sports at all. :)

6. Trivia time. Do you know the first names of the French twins?

The French whos?

7. You are in the best seafood restaurant in Canada. What type of meat do you order?

First I would ask who ever was taking out order if they had chicken. I don’t so seafood. Sorry yall crabs don’t turn me on. :)

8. How far would an electric car have to go without a recharge before you’d buy one?

At least 800 miles. Get me to my home town on a full charge and do auto drive I will buy one in a heart beat.

9. Did you see that a high court ruled that you can swear on regular TV? What word can you just not wait to hear?

Son of a bitch… I was going to insert a picture of my mother in law here but she might try to sue me LOL

10. You are in the finest steak and rib joint in Kimberville (Arizona). What seafood dish do you order?

Now wtf would I order seafood. I just told ya crabs do not turn me on and I am in a Steak joint bring on the Tbones.

11. What was the last concert that you attended that really sucked?

I have never been to a real concert, when I become rich and have no bills I will get back at ya on this one.

12. What type of accent would you like to have, if you were forced to change yours?

Australian – I just loved Steven Irwin’s accent. RIP Steve

13. Kimber’s got four kids with chicken pox. Berleen is not feeling the love today, so I was asked to host. What do you miss most when neither originator of TT is asking the questions?

I just recently started playing so I am not sure on this one… Let me play for awhile and I will tell ya if you sucked or not :)

1. The temperature in Mooseheadville, Canada was 34 below. Most of the U.S. is in a serious heat wave. In Connecticut, it was 92 degrees in the shade. What do YOU do to beat the heat?

To beat the heat we drink a lot of kool aid slushies, and we spend a lot of time in the swimming pool.

2. What is your favorite summertime song?

This is a hard one… I really don’t have a favorite I listen to a lot of Country… One of my new favorite songs is Matt Kennon The Call. Not only does he have a great voice he is super cute ;)

3. Besides nude beaches what’s your favorite outdoor summer activity?

LOL darn I wanted it to be nude beaches… Favorite summer activity is just spending time with the family. We have been spending a lot of time in the pool. It gets to hot here to do much of anything…
4. I’m inviting everyone to a cook-out with Kimber and Berleen. What should I cook for you?

BBQ Chicken, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, and some Cottage Cheese. Hope you got the pool cleaned out.

5. When selecting your swimwear do you go for sexy or practical?

Sexy what is that? How about tshirt and shorts.

6. Back in the day, did you ever have a summer fling? If yes, do tell. (Names not required.)

Fling no crush ya. He liked my sister, it’s all good though.

7. Do you know anyone who hates air conditioning? If yes, what is their reasoning?

My husband does in the car not in the home though, he has this weird thing that is messes the car up and he won’t use it… Well I am using it plain and simple…

8. When and with who was your last skinny dip?

LMAO Matter of fact, it was tonight with the hubs…

9. How sick of LeBron James are you?

I guess not to sick have no clue who that is.

10. When you were a kid, what was your best summer?

My best summer we was at the lake all summer, sometimes I miss being a kid no worry in the world and a ton of fun. We would stay up all night fishing off the docks, then in the afternoons we was on the boats.

11. Belly up to the bar. We serve ANYTHING. It’s 100 degrees. What should we pour for you?

I am not a drinking but I will take a screw driver.

12. Is there a favorite meal that you like to have in the summer?

Yes, we love having cook outs right now we are lacking a grill though oops. I like making the items I said above that I would love you to cook for me :)
13. Do you think they will solve the oil spill in time for the Gulf states to enjoy summer?

No, I think they need to get their priority straight… I really don’t think they give a shit. :(
