Michigan has been experiencing some above average temperatures, so we have been taking advantage of it and hanging outside more. However, after tonight we are suppose to get cold, and some snow. So far this winter we have seen less than 6 inches! I have become so use to the Southern winters, I am not sure I can handle these winters up North. I know I will be grabbing my blanket, some popcorn and relaxing in bed while I catch up on some T.V.

That’s one thing I can say, I have to have some sort of T.V during winter to keep me entertained. I recently learned of a new television series called Royal Pains. How many of you watch Royal Pains? I personally have never seen the show, but I have seen previews and always wanted to watch it. What better time to start then NOW. Royal Pains will be going into its 4th season on Wednesday January 18^th at 10/9pm central on USA. If you are an avid watcher get those DVR’s set, you will not want to miss the season premiere. New and exciting things are coming to the Hamptons.

Brief Summary:

The series follows Hank Lawson, a young emergency room doctor who, after being wrongly blamed for an important patient’s death, moves to the Hamptons and becomes a reluctant “doctor for hire” to the rich and famous. When the administrator of the local hospital asks him to treat the town’s less fortunate, he finds himself walking the line between doing well for himself and doing good for others.

I have to admit, these are stunning! Being upfront and honest, I loved the fact these came delivered to my front door by the florist. I also like the fact that I have had them for a week now, and they still look amazing. I was a bit disappointed that mine didn’t come with the small red ornaments. To my surprise the product from Headline Shirts was extremely well made. The shirt is a 60/40 cotton/poly blend which is super soft and thick. The tagless design especially appealed to me as tags in T-shirts often irritate the back of my neck or annoy me.

One of my primary concerns about the product from Headline Shirts was the eco friendly pigment discharge inks they use to print their designs. I was concerned it may discolor or fade with washing, but that too is not the case. I have worn the T-shirt twice and after two washings the color is still as bright as it was when I received it.

Although Headline Shirts has many shirts to choose from, I personally would love to see more designs. I rate the overall quality and design of the T-Shirts to be top notch, I will definitely be purchasing more T-Shirts from this company in the future.

Inkoos are those toys, we with older children wished we had when they were younger, it may have saved us some money on paint and toys. They are fun characters that your child can draw fun designs on and make it their own. They come with washable markers, making clean up simple. This also allows your child to express themselves whenever. Inkoos come in many different colors and styles, and the larger ones come with three markers, and the inkspiration wheel. These toys will bring your child hours of fun, may not be all in the same day, my daughter filled hers up pretty fast and was asking for me to wash it already.

The large Inkoos retail for $19.99, and the smaller ones retail for $7.99. The inkoos would make great Christmas gifts this year, not only are the affordable, they can be used to entertain on those long trips.

One thing I love about the inkoos is the fact the kids can color on them, and they wash off. One thing I don’t like about them, is there’s no easy way to wash them but the wash machine. I would love to see Inkoos come out with some sort of wipe, that you can just wipe them and they come clean again, this would make it so much better for parents. My daughter was playing around and just drawing whatever, and before we new it she was wanting it washed.

This momma, isn’t running a load of wash just to clean this little guy after 10 minutes of drawing… Kids use your space wisely, hah.

Inkoos are very well made, and I can see them lasting awhile. They are recommended for ages 4 and up.

I have to say this popcorn  was super yummy! It was extremely fresh which to be honest, I was not expecting. We have purchased tins of popcorn from the local stores during the holiday season, only to have yucky popcorn. My husband mentioned when we received it he too was worried about the freshness. However, Topsy’s Popcorn was very fresh, even a week after opening it and digging in. I would have to say out of all of them we loved the Caramel the best, my daughter and husband said eating the cinnamon popcorn was weird, so I got to eat that all by myself, YUMMY! The cheddar was different to me and my husband ate most of that one.

One of our favorite ways to eat popcorn is with lots of butter, and junior mints. Nothing like sweet and salty.

How many of you remember “My Friendship Bracelet Maker” that hit she shelves last year? Well the creators of My Friendship Bracelet Maker is at it again, they have now come out with a My Ribbon Barrette Maker.

Recently, I was contacted and asked if I wanted to review either of these products. With me already having tried out the My Friendship Bracelet Maker, I went with the My Ribbon Barrette Maker. When it first arrived I was super excited, I sort of got this one for myself to review, I mean I will share with the dear daughter, sometimes!

I had to try this out, so I broke open the box, pulled out all the directions and got to work. The first one I did was for my niece, a light bluish, and pink.

My niece was so excited about her new barrette that auntie made for her, she had to wear it to school the following day. I found these barrettes to be super easy to make and tons of fun. I have since made 3 more, one for my daughter, one for my other niece, and one just testing out some different things.

I am going to say the over all time in making one barrette from start to finish was about 15 minutes. There were a few things I didn’t like with the end results so I am going to try and make it a bit different. I would like to make the knot when I am done be on the inside of the barrette, and I will be trying some different things with this little system… This is on the down low, but once I try it out and like the results I will be sure to show everyone.

I also wanted to see what it would look like with more than two colors. This system is built to do only two colors, however, with a little time you can do more than two. I tested this with three colors, and the end result was…

The three color one did take more time, but I think the end result was extremely nice. I have tried both the friendship bracelet maker, and the ribbon maker and I have to say I like them both, the barrette maker just a bit more. I think these would make great gifts this holiday season.
