Hannah Montana : The Movie

I am 30 years old and I am not afraid to admit I love Miley Cyrus. I think she is amazing in every way. She has an awesome voice and there is just something about her that draws me in. I guess you can blame it on my daughter.

When ever a new Hannah Montana show comes on my daughter Tivo’s it even though we watch it together. (psst don’t tell no one, but I have caught my husband watching it and laughing his behind off) . So anyways when she seen previews for the Hannah Montana movie she flipped went crazy. “Mom you gotta get it I have to see it” So anyways tonight my almost 8 year old daughter and I sat down and watched the movie. I will be 100% honest with you I think I was wet eyed through most the movie.

I do not know what it is, but when I see her preform I look back and I can see all the bad things people say about this amazing girl and it hurts. They don’t stop and see the good in her, sometimes I do not understand why people have to be so negative.

I see Miley as a role model to my daughter. And yes I have seen the recent crap, she is 16 let’s not forget we was once 16 the only difference we was not in the eye of the public like she is… If she was not famous then everything she has done would have been wiped off as “oh she’s 16 don’t you remember when you was that age.”

I think the negative people should really listen to the words in her songs. If I am not mistaken she writes a lot of her songs herself. She has some talent… I have 2 absolutely favorite songs. The first being “Who Said” I try to instill this in my daughter daily. Anyone can be anything they want to be as long as they set their mind to it and MAKE it happen. The other song is “The Climb” I have not pin pointed why I like this song so much, my daughter however loves “butterflies” She has that song almost memorized word for word.

If you are a Miley fan I recommend this movie 100%, keep your mind open when you watch this and really see the movie for what it is. I really wish more people would remember where they came from. I think sometimes people forget we all was created the same way and there is not one person better then another. They maybe better off, but they are not better.
