My Baby

Friday my baby will be 8 years old. She is getting so big. It is hard to believe it was 8 years ago when my husband and I had her. We try to go all out for her birthday. Once she gets older birthdays will be just another day. So I want to make her day’s while she is younger be over the top. Last year we spent a bit to much, but the look on her face was priceless. I will not forget that look.

We also usually always buy a cake much easier. Well with a new car payment 20 bucks for a cake just did not look so pretty so we bought the stuff and I let her make it. She had a ball…

She only got a small bit of egg shells in the mix. So over all I think she did pretty well. Notice her apron. Thanks to Peanut Butter and Pickles and MyBlogSpark I won a Trix pack. My daughter loved it. She kept talking about how good she looked in that apron.

Look at my princess she looks so excited and happy to be making her own birthday cake. I am sill having a hard time with her bring 8… She is not only getting so big, but shes getting so smart. Some of the things she says just gets to me. She got a birthday card from her grandpa and 5 dollars in it yesterday she read the card then next thing she goes “that darn hillbilly”. I cracked up laughing just the way she said it. I asked why she was calling grandpa that… she goes he said ” I love you Gillian” LOL I was rolling.

Shes making rose’s don’t they look so pretty. She kept saying “daddy is gonna ask who made the cake” She was very proud of herself.

And here is the finally result. We will be opening presents in a bit and I will have more pictures. And more thanks. If it was not for the wonderful blog contests and me wining some awesome goodies. I do not think my daughter would be having much of a birthday.
